Make Music

Music was never meant to be admired from a distance.

Soul is a place for listening. Make Music is the room where listening becomes participation.

Come to learn piano, shape a song, explore worship, improvise, record, or simply enjoy the music you already love with more freedom.

Let's explore together. I'll walk a little farther down the trail because I've been here before.

Many ways to begin.

You do not need to know exactly where the path leads. You only need a place to start, a little curiosity, and someone willing to walk with you.

A working musician, not a music school.

Peter Lorenzen is a pianist, organist, composer, worship arts director, arranger, recording musician, and teacher based in Lakewood, Colorado.

His teaching grows out of the music he makes every week: performing, leading ensembles, accompanying singers, arranging, recording, composing, and helping other musicians find their next step.

Private Lessons

This is the clearest doorway into Make Music today.

Lessons are built around the student in front of me: what they love, what they hear, what they want to understand, and what would make music feel more alive in their hands.

Whether your path leads through classical piano, jazz, worship, improvisation, songwriting, or simply playing the music you love, we'll build the skills that help you enjoy it more deeply.

Ask About Lessons

Come make music.

Private lessons are the clearest doorway into Make Music today, but they are not the only way to begin.

This room can also hold recording, composition, arranging, worship projects, accompaniment, collaboration, and other forms of creative musicianship when the path calls for it.

You do not have to have the whole path mapped out.

Bring curiosity. Bring the music you love. We'll find the next step from there.
